Sorry for being away for a couple of days. I have been a little busy with the shifting chores, but now am back with another review for you. I was looking for the Lakme Perfect Radiance Night Cream, but that seems to be out of stock everywhere. One of the SAs then suggested the Olay Age Protect Anti-Ageing Cream and I thought it’s better that I use something instead of skipping the night care regime altogether. And this seemed like worthy option. And I am happy to say, I have no regrets.
- Lightens dark spots
- Reduces wrinkles
- Improves skin tone
- Gives radiant younger looking skin
Pocket pinch vs. quantity: INR 275 for 40 grams of product. I feel that quantity-wise, it is okay. Since you need a very small amount of the product for each application, it will easily last you for two months or a bit more. It comes in a white plastic tub packaging with a black cap and no extra fuss. The name and the details of the cream are printed on the front and the back.
My experiences: The best part about using this cream that it instantly gets absorbed into the skin upon application and feels like I have not applied anything at all. The skin feels moisturized and stays hydrated for the entire night. Upon waking up, the skin does not feel stretched but the subtle glow that you get in the morning after using the Lakme Perfect Radiance Night cream is missing in this one.
I have been using this product for two weeks now and my skin has definitely showed some signs of improvement. Talking about lightening dark spots, I cannot say much about that since I did not have any visible dark spots. Yes, but those signs of tan have visibly reduced. Again, I did not have any visible wrinkles, but the fine lines around my eyes is gradually disappearing. It wipes away all the uneven patches on the skin and evens out the tone. It doesn’t make my skin glow, but it definitely makes my skin look firmer and healthier.
Since it does not contain SPF, it does not provide protection against UV rays of the Sun. I can use it both as a day cream or night cream when my skin feels a bit stretched and needs some extra hydration. The texture is soft but not runny. When you take a small amount of the tub, it sits pretty on the skin without flowing in all directions until it is blended into the skin. The only con is that it comes in a tub packaging, which is kind of unhygienic and requires you to wash your hands thoroughly before you dig your hand into the tub.
Why you’ll like the Olay Age Protect Anti-Ageing Cream?
- Is extremely lightweight
- Gets instantly absorbed into the skin
- Gives a subtle glow
- Is travel-friendly
- Texture is soft
- Does not make the skin greasy
- Is affordably priced
- Comes with a soft fragrance
Why you may leave the Olay Age Protect Anti-Ageing Cream?
- The tub packaging for sure which makes it unhygienic
- Skin stays hydrated for a short while
- Does not have SPF which means you would have to layer it over a sunscreen
My recommendations: Yes, I would recommend this cream because it is extremely lightweight and completely gets absorbed into the skin thereby providing the skin with the much-needed hydration. It visibly reduces the fine lines and evens out the skin tone. At INR 275, I had just expected that it provide my skin with some bit of hydration but I am happy it does much more than that.
